Introduction

KTM is set to introduce the 2025 390 SMC R in the Indian market, bringing supermoto excitement to enthusiasts. This lightweight, agile motorcycle is designed for riders seeking a blend of performance and versatility.​

At the heart of the 390 SMC R lies a 399cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 45 PS of power and 39 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, ensuring responsive performance across various riding conditions. ​


Suspension and Braking

The motorcycle features a 43 mm WP APEX open cartridge front fork and an off-set WP APEX rear shock absorber, both offering 230 mm of travel. This setup provides excellent handling and comfort on diverse terrains.

Braking duties are handled by a Bosch 10.3MB ABS system, offering both standard and Supermoto ABS modes for enhanced control. ​


Wheels and Tyres

The 390 SMC R rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Michelin Power 6 tyres110/70 R17 at the front and 150/60 R17 at the rear—providing excellent grip and stability. ​

Equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT display, the motorcycle offers Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and music controls. Riders can choose from three riding modes: Rain, Street, and Sport, tailoring the bike’s performance to their preference. ​
